Smart Oven Maker Brings Biohacker's Protocol to Meal Delivery Tovala has launched Longevity Meals, a new line of meals designed to Blueprint protocol standards and certified by Bryan Johnson's longevity company. The partnership pairs Blueprint's nutritional approach with Tovala's smart oven technology and culinary team, aiming to make longevity-focused eating practical for home cooks.
Menu Design and Nutritional Standards The line includes two permanent offerings based on Johnson's personal recipes: Super Veggie, a mix of lentils, broccoli, cauliflower and mushrooms, and Nutty Pudding, his breakfast staple. A rotating weekly menu features dishes like Garlic Pepper Filet Mignon with Butternut Squash Purée, Dukkah Salmon with Sweet Potato, Garlic Lentils and Kale, and Mediterranean Chicken with Zucchini, Kale, Mini Tomatoes and Quinoa in Lemon Herb Dressing. Each meal is built around lean proteins, healthy fats and nutrient-dense ingredients. Meals exclude more than 100 banned substances, including dairy, artificial preservatives, refined sugars and hydrogenated oils. Most offerings provide 35 grams or more of protein and 8 grams or more of fiber, with macronutrient targets designed to support sustained energy. Tara Amanya, Johnson's personal chef and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, worked with Tovala's culinary team to craft and approve each meal against Blueprint's standards, which are informed by longevity research conducted by Johnson's clinical team.
Technology Integration Meals are designed specifically for Tovala's Smart Oven.
Customers scan a QR code, and the oven automatically runs the chef-developed cook cycle using precise heat and timing. Nutrition data from each meal can be logged directly to Apple Health, integrating with users' existing health and wearable devices.
Operator Context "Nutrition is something I've cared about personally for a long time, and I've always believed Tovala could play a bigger role in helping people eat well," said David Rabie, Co-Founder and CEO of Tovala. "Blueprint has set a high standard for longevity nutrition, and this partnership is a chance to make that approach easier for people to actually live with day to day." Bryan Johnson added: "In my protocol, every ingredient fights for its life. For these Longevity Meals to be Blueprint Certified, they have to meet that same strict standard." Longevity Meals are available beginning October 15 for Tovala customers throughout the continental U.S. through the company's meal subscription service.
Why It Matters
The partnership reflects growing operator interest in nutrition-specific meal lines as consumers become more intentional about dietary goals. Tovala's integration of certification from an external authority (Blueprint) alongside technology automation (smart oven + QR scanning) signals how meal delivery services are differentiating beyond commodity convenience—competing on credibility and customization for emerging wellness segments.
